SCL's Ana Hudomal wins L'Oreal-UNESCO award
SCL's Ana Hudomal is one of three recipients of the prestigious "For Women in Science" National Award for 2024. The award is part of the renowned L'Oreal-UNESCO "For Women in Science" international program.
For the past 26 years, the L'Oreal-UNESCO "For Women in Science" program has worked to support and promote women in scientific fields. To date, the program has awarded over 4400 grants, with seven recipients going on to win Nobel Prizes.
Since 2010, the Serbian branch of the program has recognized around 40 researchers under the age of 35, including those in the final stages of their PhDs and postdoctoral researchers in STEM disciplines.
This year, Ana Hudomal, along with two other researchers, was selected for the award from a pool of 68 applicants.
