Vladimir Lončar successfully defended his PhD thesis entitled "Hybrid parallel algorithms for solving nonlinear Schrödinger equation" at the Faculty of Sciences, University of Novi Sad on Tuesday, 17 October 2017. The thesis was done at SCL under the supervision of Dr. Antun Balaž. The members of the thesis defense committee, Dr. Dragan Mašulović, Dr. Nataša Krejić, Dr. Srđan Škrbić (Faculty of Sciences, University of Novi Sad), and Dr. Antun Balaž, were impressed with Vladimir's results and the presentation of the thesis.
