SCL's Dr. Iva Bačić is among the three newly elected members of the Advisory Board of The Young Researchers of the Complex Systems Society (YRCSS). YRCSS is a branch of the Complex Systems Society (CSS) formed by and for young researchers. Every year, YRCSS organizes satellite sessions on conferences, workshops for young researchers, as well as panel discussions with senior researchers.

On behalf of YRCSS, Dr. Bačić invites all young researchers from SCL to apply for the 9th Edition of the Conference on Complex Systems Warm-up Event for Young Researchers, taking place in Palma de Mallorca, from 14th to 16th October 2022, just before the main CSS conference which takes place from 17th to 21st October 2022. This is an informal two-day event that offers early-stage scientists the opportunity to hear talks from prominent young researchers, learn about the scientific and life experience of young and senior researchers, socialize, and have fun playing specifically tailored trivia games. It is worth mentioning, that, Dr. Bačić is not the first person from SCL to be elected for this role: SCL's Dr. Aleksandra Alorić held this position between 2015 and 2017.
