SCL at agINFRA Workshop
SCL's Antun Balaz, Dusan Vudragovic and Vladimir Slavnic participated in the agINFRA Workshop which was held on 18 May 2012 as a part of the Fifth Belgrade International Open Access Conference 2012. This event was organised by agINFRA project partners: Faculty of Agriculture of the University of Belgrade, Institute of Physics Belgrade and Agro-Know Technologies (AgroKnow) from Greece together with the Centrе for Evaluation in Education and Science (CEON), Belgrade and the National Library of Serbia.
In the first part of this event Antun Balaz gave an overview of High Performance Computing and Grid eInfrastructure available for agriculture, Charalampos Thanopoulos presented stakeholder expectations from agricultural research infrastructures and Effie Tsiflidou talked about the Virtual Open Access Agriculture & Aquaculture Repository (VOA3R). These talks were an introduction to the second part of the meeting that consisted of fruitful discussion on the presented topics.
