Dr. Axel Pelster from University of Duisburg-Essen) visited SCL from 4 to 8 October 2010 as a part of research activities of the PI-BEC bilateral project. The main goal of the visit was work on the paper on parametric resonances in Bose-Einstein condensates.

Axel Pelster and his SCL host Antun Balaz also discussed future research activities, focusing on geometric resonances in BEC, as well as perturbative and non-perturbative approaches for the description of the effects of disorder on BEC.
