SCL's Ivana Vidanovic visited Free University of Berlin from 19 April to 7 May 2010, according to the plan of visits of the PI-BEC research project.

The discussions and work with the host Axel Pelster focused on two primary topics: improvements of the Hartree-Fock theory for the description of Bose-Einstein condensates at finite temperatures and study of parametric resonance effects in Bose-Einstein condensates due to the modulation of the s-wave scattering length.

During the three-week visit, Ivana also attended Axel Pelster's lectures on scattering theory at the Potsdam University.
