Dr. Igor Franović, SCL’s expert in nonlinear dynamics, stochastic processes and emergent phenomena in complex networks, has been appointed Associate Editor of the Elsevier’s journal Chaos, Solitons & Fractals. The journal covers a broad spectrum of topics in the interdisciplinary field of nonlinear science, ranging from the dynamics of complex networks, self-organization and non-equilibrium processes, over fluctuations and random processes to computational biology, social behavior and technology. The editorial board includes world-renown experts in the field, including the Editors-in-Chief Stefano Boccaletti and Maurice Courbage, as well as distinguished members of the board, Vladimir Nekorkin, Matjaž Perc, Tomaž Prosen, Valentin Afraimovich, Mikhail Rabinovich, Didier Sornette, Roberto Livi, Alain Destexhe and others.
