SCL's Jelena Smiljanić successfully defended her PhD thesis entitled "Analysis of Properties of Complex Networks with Discrete Dynamics" ("Ispitivanje svojstava kompleksnih mreža sa diskretnom dinamikom") at the School of Electrical Engineering, University of Belgrade. The thesis was done in SCL under supervision of Dr. Marija Mitrović Dankulov. The members of the thesis defense committee, Dr. Jelena Radovanović (Professor at the School of Electrical Engineering), Dr. Vitomir Milanović (Emeritus Professor at the School of Electrical Engineering), Dr. Marija Mitrović Dankulov (Assistant Research Professor at the Institute of Physics Belgrade), Dr. Marija Rašajski (Associate Professor at the School of Electrical Engineering), and Dr. Antun Balaž (Research Professor at the Institute of Physics Belgrade) were impressed by Jelena's results and the presentation of the thesis.
