The 48th International Physics Olympiad (IPhO) for high school students was held in Yogyakarta, Indonesia from 16 to 24 July 2017. Serbian high school students won one gold medal and four silver medals which is the best performance in the history of our participation at IPhO. Gold medal was won by Dušan Đorđević from Mathematical Grammar School in Belgrade, while Marko Šušnjar and Vuk Radović from the same school and Novak and Bogdan Stanojević from Grammar School "Svetozar Marković" in Niš won silver medals. The team was lead by SCL's Veljko Janković and Božidar Nikolić from Faculty of Physics at the University of Belgrade.

SCL members were very active in preparation of tasks for national physics competitions and preparation of students for IPhO.
