M. Radulaski receives best BSc thesis award

Marina Radulaski received the "Prof. dr Ljubomir Cirkovic" foundation award for best BSc thesis defended at the Faculty of Physics, University of Belgrade, in the period from 1 November 2010 to 1 November 2011.

Her BSc thesis entitled "Numerical Simulations of Electron-Phonon Interaction in Quantum Dots" was based on the research performed during Marina's stay in the group of Dr Lin-Wang Wang at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory last summer and was completed at SCL under supervision of Dr Nenad Vukmirovic. She defended her thesis on 14 July 2011 and she is currently a PhD student at Stanford University.

The results of her thesis were also an essential part of the paper published in Journal of Physical Chemistry C.
