As a part of the exhibition Physics4U, which was held as one of the accompanying events of the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Institute of Physics, Nenad Vukmirovic gave a popular lecture on the physics of tennis. The lecture was held in the Gallery of Science and Technology of Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts. During the lecture, the audience could learn the scientific reasons why it is difficult to return the serve, how fast the line referees should react, how the ball bounces on different surfaces, the reasons behind the curved motion of a spinning ball, what is the role of latitude, as well as what are the most important spots on the racquet.
