Visit to Inssbruck

SCL's Vladimir Veljić and Antun Balaž visited the group of Francesca Ferlaino at the University of Innsbruck and IQOQI institute of the Austrian Academy of Sciences in the framework of the Serbian-Austrian bilateral project "Dynamics of Ultracold Dipolar Fermi Gases". The ongoing collaboration was discussed during this visit together with Axel Pelster from the Technical University of Kaiserslautern, the long-standing collaborator of SCL. Vladimir Veljić gave a seminar talk on "Equilibrium properties and dynamics of trapped dipolar Fermi gases", while Antun Balaž gave two talks, one on "Controlling BEC properties via driving" and the other on "Emergence of striped states in quantum ferrofluids". The members of the groups of Francesca Ferlaino, Rudolf Grimm, and Hanns-Christoph Nägerl presented their current experiments and recent results.
